    Brenny Transportation Inc.
    Position: Account Representative
    Position Summary: Account Representative reports to the Logistics Manager. Account Representative’s primary responsibility is to
    manage customer’s shipments via truck and exercise proper judgment with all details involved with the coordination of such.
    Hours: Hours of Operation Monday through Friday. Hours based on individual level. Some after-hours work, weekend work and/or
    travel may be required.

    Position Duties and Expectations (may include but not limited to):
    1. Accountable for providing GRAND CHAMPION Customer Service to all Customers including pricing, current loads &
    delivery information. Verify all information on each load with the customer.
    2. Make outbound phone calls to customers securing shipments to be hauled through Brenny’s Logistics division & Specialized
    division.
    3. Actively pursue and secure new accounts by prospecting and Champion calling. (Brenny’s word for cold calling).
    4. Answering customers incoming phone calls, answering customers questions and negotiate pricing on loads. Booking
    shipments from customers calling in.
    5. Build professional relationships & grow revenue with new and existing customers. Maintain professional relationships with
    existing customers.
    6. Resolve customer concerns, develop solutions and communicate that info to Logistics Manager.
    7. Accountable in researching & lead generation of new customers. Keeping all customer information up to date in the system.
    8. Ensure information for invoicing and settling carriers is correct.
    9. Maintain and keep track of customer historical sales records in provided software program.
    10. Work closely with Business Service securing credit information on current and new customers.
    11. Work closely with Carrier Service by communicating customer expectations on equipment, time schedule and pricing.
    12. Work closely with Customer Service / Sales Team Member by providing champion communication with them.
    13. Work with Specialized dispatch, communicating available freight and customer load expectations.
    14. Must be able to conduct sales presentations to individuals & groups. Keep contents up to date.
    15. Customer visits on a regular basis to build relationships with customers.
    16. Understanding and selling WBE, DBE, WOSB & certifications.
    17. Attend company meetings, chamber events, educational classes, networking events and seminars as directed. Review industry
    related publications.
    18. Other duties as directed by Logistics Manager, VP and Owners.

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    *College degree or 2-4 years work experience, customer service training helpful
    *Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
    *Above average communication skills
    *An understanding of the transportation/logistics industry, or desire to learn
    *Self motivated & innovative – able to work with little supervision
    *Able to multitask and prioritize task at hand
    *Excellent Customer Service, phone skills, & computer skills
